What a day

It was such a tiring day at the hospital. So I am just going to leave you with a few pictures I took in Europe this summer. Ariana, Talia, Alexandra, and Lindsay are driving up to Anaheim right not to see Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. I am OH SO jealous!

Sloshy Ball

Slosh Ball for BQ's Birthday was a GREAT SUCCESS *Borat accent*. We all had so much fun. There was many beer facials and hilarious runs. I think that half of the keg was on the grass at the end of the game. See ya next weekend Kate Sessions!

Cherish Family

Today is a GREAT day. I am overwhelmed with happy emotions. Just, 5 minutes ago I was overwhelmed with nervousness and uncertainty. However, my Dad just went in for his 1 year check up and he is still CANCER FREE. I have one lucky family and the greatest Dad in the world.on that note

This is the best video I have came across in a while. LOVE IS LOUDER FCKH8. Seriously this is one subject that just can really get me going and I don't get going about much things. Let these people live their lives.. and you go on and live your life. Why does something that you think or believe effect someone else's life and happiness? It makes me sick. Well I could go on and on about this! On a happy note I purchased a shirt!!

Cozy Sweater

This season gives everyone the reason to want to bundle up in a cozy sweater. When I look for myne I usually go to the mens sale section at Urban and your bound to find a few, however Nasty Gal does a great job as well.

This outfit I am in love with, so easy yet such a statement. Leather shorts.. here I come.

Take that grudge, that unhappy feeling, that annoyance, out of your thoughts today. Why let something or someone consume your brain? Go write it down somewhere and then tear it up. Let it go, you will be happy that you did so. Turn that thought around. Say hi to a neighbor, call or text a friend and wish them a great day, or pay for someone's coffee in the drive-through line. Whatever it is that you do, remember we were put on this world for a certain amount of time. So don't waste that time with petty feelings and thoughts, embrace that time with happiness and joy of this thing we call life.

Rainy Friday

Well, it has been a great week, full of relaxing. Tuesday night I was peer pressured (I swear!) into going out for Taco Tuesday. We all went to Bubs Dive Bar, which is a really cool bar in PB. Talia & Alexandra brought some German friends from Munich & Frankfurt. They were really nice and fun to talk to! One of the girls could not believe how Lindsay & I couch-surfed.

Of course the next morning I woke up feeling like death, no matter how much I drink I can not function the next day. So I decided to take a 'personal' day. Much needed!

Thursday night we all got dressed up to go downtown to a wine bar called Syrah- the theme is 'Alice and Wonderland' and is underground. I of course got all ready and was too tired, so the girls went without me but they had a fun time. I have pics from the photoshoot we took before. Now, just a warning I am new to this whole 'fashion type blog' thing- so my friends and I could not be serious. Our faces are jokes.. we were on the floor laughing so hard. But, I think they turned out well :).

Friday morning- Lauren & I finally did it!! We got feather hair extensions.. and are now addicted. So ever since Haven's blowout sale where two ladies were doing them I could not stop thinking about them. So, we found a girl who works in hillcrest who does them. In the morning, not going to lie I was nervous. I had no clue what to expect. Were these feathers going to look like bird feathers? Well anyways, Lauren and I went and the feathers were amazing!!! They stay in 6 months however when the extension grows out you just need to go back in and she moves it higher for you! If anyone would like her number let me know :).

I am off to Santa Barbara at 6 tonight for a beer festival! A big group of us are going for Alexis's 22nd birthday!! Our friend Lynch's parents actually put on the festival, so we are camping out in tents.. yes tents in his backyard. Should be an 'experience,' I don't remember the last time I have been in a tent. However I am SO excited for good beer and good eats.. NOM? See ya when I get back! Hope everyone has a great, relaxing, fun weekend!
